Veritas Incognita

From January-September 2008 we have build our house in Zuidhorn, Netherlands.

To save money, we have build most of it ourselves.

Our small 'castle' has 11 rooms and a large cellar.

Nevertheless, we use very little energy for heating and electricity.

The house is very well insulated, has a heathpump and 100 m2 solarpanels.

Here you can see a film that was made by De Beeldbrigade and broadcasted by SBS6.

The language is Dutch.

At the front of the house you can read the credo Veritas Incognita Ergo Dubito. The truth is not to be know, therefore I am in doubt. I formulated this credo in 2007. You can also recognize the Tree of Life that I composed in 1988. In the hall there is a painting at the ceiling of the Creation of Man and on the floor there is a mozaik of the DNAgram that I designed in 2007.
