The Tree of Life is composed of religious symbols. It is a symbolic representation of the human experience that takes place between heaven and earth, spirit and matter.

The black square represents the earth, matter. The white wings represent the divine, the immaterial. The flame is the spirit. Between the spiritual and material human ideas develop. Spirit and matter are connected by the body, gesymbolized by the red line with 'branches', the tree itself. In this tree the Jewish menorah, the yantra and the Buddhist Eightfold Path, the Christian cross and the Hindu sun's wheel can be recognized. They propose ways of life.
From the black square a snake pulls up, represents the reproductive drives. 

There is also the sign of hope (ship / anchor) to recognize and the union of man and woman (cross in circle, sword in scale). The infinite amount of characters that enclose the symbol form the vague contours of the tree of life itself. But even this large amount of words cannot the meaning of this symbol well.
